About the opportunity:

We are looking for a talented and innovative marketing communications coordinator to join our collaborative global team and support the Marketing department with increasing internal and external engagement.

The role works across a fast-growing business with exposure to various levels and areas including internal and external communications, brand and reputation management, advertising, and marketing (including digital). More specifically, the role offers the opportunity to optimise all internal and external digital platforms and deliver engaging marketing content aligned with Auscript and For The Record’s global strategy.

Responsibilities include:

  • Copywriting and content generation (written and visual) across internal and external communications covering, articles, social media posts, video scripts and email communications.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day performance and updating of all digital channels and community engagement, including the company’s websites, staff intranets, and social media
  • Daily media monitoring to understand trends and identify opportunities and provide analysis to core internal stakeholders.
  • Establishing reports and metrics for analysing the performance and optimising engagement – particularly across digital channels.
  • Supporting communications for various staff events and initiatives throughout the year to foster internal engagement.
  • Supporting client engagement through the successful delivery of all industry events, tradeshows and sponsorship opportunities across both the APAC & EMEA.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
  • Working closely with the Senior Marketing Advisor (Australia), Regional Marketing Advisor (Americas) and across all areas of the business to deliver on the above responsibilities.

    Internal communications, media relations and digital advertising and marketing experience is highly desirable.

    To be successful in this role, you must bring the experience, skills and attributes outlined below:

  • A Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field
  • Significant experience as a Marketing or Communications Coordinator, preferably three to five years
  • Strong writing skills – able to develop ideas, plan and produce written content that is clear, compelling, and on-brand (including scheduling)
  • Design experience using Adobe Creative Suite
  • High attention to detail in both your written work and planning
  • Tech savvy and digitally proficient in Google analytics, WordPress and MailChimp (or similar) with knowledge on social media and digital best practices
  • Must be able to manage time and prioritise multiple competing demands
  • Honesty/Integrity - does not cut corners ethically and does what is right
  • Strong communication - speaks and writes clearly and articulately without being overly verbose or talkative
  • Demonstrates persistence, tenacity and willingness to go the distance to get something done
  • Capability to build strong and effective collaborative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across different cultures
  • Innovative mindset always looking for continuous improvement

Position holder must be available after hours on occasion for the management of activities with international colleagues/suppliers as part of the company’s global footprint.
